I'm already taking anti-anxiety medication....I need something to supplement it that is purely an effort of my own. What has worked for you in the past?

Death is a life experience for which no one knows the outcome. Many people relieve the stress and anxiety surrounding this, by adopting religion, which explains, usually in a positive way, the outcome of death. There is really no way of knowing what the future holds. What causes stress about it is negative imagination, which if it becomes a habit of worry leads to anxiety. To relieve it try getting in the habit of thinking positively about the future. Imagine good outcomes not impending doom and dire happenings. This may be hard to do because some people who are pessimists by nature always expect the worst. Counseling may be necessary to change ones outlook, see a psychologist.

Que sera sera, good luck in your imagining, good health, peace and love!

I've tried the medication. Doesn't work. Meditation is the best remedy.
