Firstly 500 is not nearly enough. Secondly, you have psychological issues you need to address. Thirdly, You can't keep this up for very long. Eventually you'll feel so hungry and deprived, you'll go from anorexia to bulimia and end up actually gaining back any weight you might lose plus about 20% more in addition to the serious health problems this will lead to. Making your vicious circle even worse. Now that said. Seek professional help first then try this...1200 calories a day and exercise 30 -40 minutes a day for the rest of your life and your weight will never be a problem. What you do to your body now will come back on you later in life for better or worse. This way you can get on with living instead of dying to be thin.

Just remeber that you cant gain more weight then you eat. If you eat a 1 ounce peice of chicken you can only gain a portion of that. If you eat a hamburger thats a pound or less your not going to gain 10 pounds.
500 calories isnt healthy for your body. remember that carbs are good for you, They help you keep muscle and give you energy to burn off any unwanted fat. Depending on your weight and your general activity, thats how many calories you should be taking in the norm is about 1000 to 1500 for any average women. Thats not hard to over do. Just eat smaller healthier portions.
Stay active, cut out greasy and processed foods and make sure you eat cooked vegetables. Veggies are very good for you but it takes your body a long time to digest lettuce and things like that as well as red meat.. So keep that in mind when you think salads are a good option or trying to stay with meat diets.. Good luck I know the struggle and remember to stay active!

BAD IDEA! minimum you should be getting per day is 1200. any less stunts your metabolism so you are actually doing more harm to yourself than anything else. yes, you'll see results that way but i promise you you won't be able to keep it up. turns out our bodies are VERY good at self preservation...this is were cravings come from and after a awhile of only eating 500cal a day you will have such strong cravings that you will end up binge eating and destroying all your results. if you consume 1200 cal a day PLUS exercise several days a week as well you will maintain a thin body shape. make sure you are getting those calories from healthy foods (whole grain carbs, fruits, veggies, lean protein and healthy fats.) eating 500 cal a day forever would just make you malnourished and more prone to disease, infection, general feelings of malaise and early death. starving yourself (i.e "fasting") never helps matters either and could kill you. instead of all this starving nonsense you need to learn how to eat better. a book that will help you with this is called "the abs diet" by david zinczenko. its NOT A DIET in fact you will be eating a lot but all foods called powerfoods that have a high thermic effect (i.e. take a LOT of calories to digest therefore you actually get less calories for energy than the total amount that is listed for that food.) just make sure you continue to challenge your body at whatever exercise you chose. pick, for instance running one month then switch to biking the next...something like that. this will help you not to get bored with your routine either.

For a bit, yes, but it'll just be your water weight. Do not obsess over it! It sounds like you dont have anorexia, but if you keep that up, you might. I know a few people with it, and they hate it and themselves. It controls you constantly. It's not just a state of mindd, but a complete mental disorder. It takes over your body. It's not something that people choose to be, it becomes them. Eat healthy, eat only when hungry, drink water, and eat about 1200 calories a day. Exercise, and you'll lose the weight. Don't fall into the trap.

The truth is 500 calories is just wrong. Your metabolism will slow to a snails crawl. Being skinny is okay, but ones natural body weight is set by nature. Most people that loose weight, most often gain it all back with additional weight to boot. If you have problems, being skinny won't make them go away. They will just be put on the back burner. They will resurface later. Solve the problems themselves. Do not add other problems to the mix. Getting help from a professional is nothing to be ashamed of, I urge you to get help, fast.

Studies show that you actually burn more calories if you eat double what you eat 1000 kcal. You'll also feel better. You'll have energy for sports or thinking. And it 'll effectively will keep the weight off.

All I can say is that you can feel skinny by eating fruits and vegetables, fresh juices, water, sushi, sea foods, nuts, cereal, raisins, organic milk, everything organic as much as possible.. Take you're daily vitamins, iron, a little chicken. That's my diet and I feel great and don't forget to excercise boo. Keep it healthy and skinny you go girl! You can eat the right things and be skinny, eat most soft foods easier to digest. Good Luck and you don't have to starve yourself to be exoticly, sexy, and skinny.. I'm perfect example ;)

500 calories a day is not enough. You never ever ingest less than 800 calories a day. You need to see someone about eating disorders.
