my daughter is 14 and she wants a job and she has tried working but no one will hire her that young does any one have any ideas of were she could work she will get a permitt to work at 14 but first needs to have a job to get one

Babysitting? YOu can always try her school, which has listings alot of the time.. or church or community center has jobs as well.

She could do well babysitting.. She would have to take a babysitting course to learn infant/toddler CPR/FIRST AID. Or she could do odd jobs for elderly people yardwork, small errands and housework. Or she can do chores around the house for some payment... It's unlikely she'll be able to get a real "job" till she's at least 16 and even then it might be tough.. Tell he she has the rest of her life to work and she should just be a kid for a little while longer while she still can... Good luck

These days there are too many opportunities to not work, and if you can find none,have her get creative with ideas of how she can create some for herself.
Encourage entrepreneurial ventures.
If she can make anything that someone would be interested in buying, that would be a good place to start.

by child labor laws - she is too young to work at 99% of jobs. Maybe at 15, she can work at McDonalds or something, but hrs will be very limited during school year
