It probably means that you feel you are wearing a "mask" or there is some barrier that exists inside of you that keeps you from showing your "true face" so to speak. I would work on being more frank with people for that to go away. Whoever you are, be that person and be loud and proud about it! :) (but take good care of your skin to be on the safe side)
