Believers will never admit that answered prayers are more random than hitting the lottery. They have that whole "yes, no, wait" idea that covers all prayers. Problem is, the Bible says that whatever you ask for in Jesus name will be granted to you, but how many people actually get what they ask for in Jesus name is another matter. So, they tack on that "if it be thy will" bit. That way, it is totally up to god to grant what they asked for in Jesus name, even though god said "whatever" is asked for in Jesus name will be granted.

They really have themselves muddled into believing prayer works despite the evidence.

For His sake: 100%
From selfish motives: 0%

Often God doesn't answer prayer immediately because He wants us to keep asking because He wants a relationship with Him.

All of them. I should explain.
Silence can be an answer.(No)
An answer does not always come the way I think it should.(yeah, like I KNOW better than God what He should do, right?!)
But an answer comes. Sometimes what I pray about doesn't even need a response because the situation changes, or my understanding of something was off.
Sometimes, the answer takes a LONG, LONG time. I'm still waiting for certain ones.

100%. But the answer may be 'I will tell you more later'.

At least the ones that I asked abiding in His Word and in His Love. If God hears, you know He answers. He doesn't listen to prayers contrare to His Word & contrare to His love.

When I am asking God something, I am praying in spirit (spiritually) & truth (honest from heart). I know to abide in His Word & His love. So? That is why I ask this way.

God answers all questions you ask him. Maybe he doesn't give you wanted or expected, but he will never ignore you. You just have to truly listen for his answer. So 100% for me.
