have you tried using a flea comb? I use front line on my dogs but and it works great i have no problems with fleas. there is also another flea treatment called spot on and that works the same. You apply it to the back of the neck where they cannot bite at it or lick it off.

lavender oil repeals fleas they hate the taste and smell of lavender, when my cat got fleas I dropped laverder oil in all the corners of the rooms and a couple drops on her and then that night I got a pie pan filled it with soap and water and put a votive candle in it, you know so water and soap is surrounding it, turned off all the nights, by the way the pie pans/water/candle thinggoes in the middle of any room and let it burn all night long with the lites off, the Fleas are attracted to the light and jump in the water and can't get out because of the soap, I know it's not safe to burn candles at night but sometimes if you want a natural remedy you gotta do weird things, and if the candle falls over or something like that the water will put it out. Keep doing the candle thing until you stop finding fleas in the water. Be sure to keep it dark in the room you are "candling" or else the fleas won't be as attracted to the light.

A man told me a story about coyotes in Nevada and how they get rid of fleas, naturally; The coyote will pick up and bite on a stick of wood then walk backward into a pond. Now as the water progresses on the fur the fleas flee for safety eventually the stick. Just before the coyote goes under he releases the stick and the fleas float away.

Nothing that would work effectively. I used Frontline and it worked like a charm, no problems ever again.
