Some companies though will send your paycheck earlier than the rest of the employees, but this is strictly their choice. However, they cannot make you wait longer than any other employee who is getting paid for the same pay period.
One thing to remember though, is that if you were coming up on a pay period, then you will probably only get the pay for that pay period. After that, the last couple of days will go into the next pay period, so you will have to wait the entire next pay period for that little bit.
