Can we assume that you know her as a person well enough to be in a relationship with her at all?

I've been in a couple of long distance relationships, even moved for one of them, and may I say, DON'T DO IT! If you started out together, then it might be different, but I would rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick than do that again.
Saying that.. It is possible, but if you knew someone had some trait you didn't like, would you still continue the relationship? LIke being 1000 miles away? There are people it has worked for, but it is a lot of pain, a lot of work, and very little actual time together. In fact, the time you do spend together will be like "holiday" time, and you won't be the real you or get to know the real her. I suppose that might be a good thing though heh...

Wow! That will be very challenging!
But if you want to make the relationship last, you will have to eventually set up a date to meet her. If not, it will seem like it is going no where. Maybe in a couple months for Thanksgiving she can come up and visit you and then vice versa.
I do know, that long distance relationships are very hard to do, and that is from experience. BUT! It does work! You must have total trust in that person, and you must be honest.
If you have any questions, or would like to hear from my experiences feel free to email me @ hotpinkribbon123@yahoo.com

If it is long term, I would say the only relationship you could both have would be with other people. People change and over time you will drift apart if you don't have time face to face. Long distance relationships only work when they are very short term.

It can work, but its very difficult. Trust and communication are key... If you don't have both of them, its doomed to fail...
MissVida: A trait someone doesn't like? Even married couples have things they don't like about each other. I think its stupid to use that as a reason unless it has a detrimental effect on the relationship.

I live 1000 miles away from my boyfriend and it works. It's hard being away from eachother and only seeing eachother once every month but when we are together it makes it all worth it.
Good Luck!

I really hope so because I live in the Caribbean and my fiance is about to migrate to the US sooooooooooo. I don't know about new relationships but I realy hope long distant relationships work out contrary to popular beliefs.

of course it can. True love can travel thousands of miles! If you really think she is the one, this relationship will work out. It might be hard at times, but you will be together.
