It's their birthday too I was wondering if they got to celebrate.

Yes they do. Most of the time each recruiting station (i.e. Detroit, Louisville, Orlando, etc) will throw one ball that the recruiters from the substations may attend. Generally they throw a second Marine Corps Ball for poolees so that they can learn about the traditions.

Yeah they are Marines so of course they go to a ball. Recruiters are no different than any other Marine, they just have a different job to do. In a few years that will likely change.

Usually the recruiting district does one for the recruiters or they attend at a Marine base is one located close. Was a recruiter for three years and was able to attend a ball each year.

Every one knows only the cherry marines get invited to the marine corps ball!

Why not? The local Navy recruiters are allowed to go to our local Navy Ball.
