You don't have to be 21 to purchase vinegar. It's like buying red or white wine vinegar. There is no alcohol in vinegar.

The Marsala wine is a different story though. It does have alcohol in it. Do NOT buy Marsala from the grocery store in the section with the cooking wines that you don't need to be 21 to buy. The reason is that these wines are so full of salt that they are pretty disgusting.

Rice wine vinegar- no
marsala- yes
cooking marsala - no

You'll find both cooking items at the grocery store.

You should have no problem buying rice wine vinegar.

Now if you are talking about a pre-mixed marsala sauce, then that shouldn't be a problem. If you are talking about buying the wine to make the marsala sauce. Then yes you have to be 21.

No...the age to drink/buy alcohol in most of Canada...if not all...is 18.

As for the Vinegar, no...in your jurisdiction.
As for the actual alcohol included beverage, yes...in your jurisdiction.

vinager wine gone sour... NO ALCOHOL. It is even heated to remove any residue.
