How can you think abortion is a choice when it destroys the life of an unborn baby and causes him pain. Just look up on You tube "the Silent Screams. The baby is squirming around in his mothers womb away from the abortionist's tools. And also go to this website and look at the pictures then tell me if you think its a choice http://priestsforlife.org/resources/photosassorted/index.htm

women have no right to kill a child that is in their womb.
I as a woman believe god put the baby in your stomach for a reason.. not to kill but to give birth to it!! These pictures are horrifying and disgusting as to show what women do to their babies. As soon as that child is conceived, it was meant to be born not to destroy ..
If a woman was going to make love then it had consequences
As for if the woman was raped, her choice should be what to do to punish the rapist not the child. Jesus said to let the children come to him. I think he didnt mean by Killing them. Who would jesus abort? no innocent child thats for sure

No one can answer when ensoulment begins - though opinions are often offered as fact.
I was taught that ensoulment occurs with first breath. I was taught that only one soul can exist within a body at a time, and that for two to exist within the same space is called "possession".
Now I know that sometimes pregnant women act as though they may be possessed... but last I checked that's not the actual case.
Having been pregnant I can tell you that I felt wonder at the constant touch and companionship of that other soul, touching through me - and I can tell you the moment that soul ceased to work through me, ceased touching me, ceased to co-create with me the child I had hoped to have.
Poof! Gone.
That was devastating. A child I wanted, gone.
On another occasion, under very different circumstances, I chose abortion. I could barely support myself, I was dealing with chronic, sometimes acute, depression. I was (as yet) undiagnosed with Bipolar Mood Disorder and was as f***ed up as a football-bat. And I knew that having a child would kill us both - so I chose termination.
Was it the most horrible decision I have ever made?
You betcha.
Was it still the correct decision, in that place, in that time, under those circumstances?
Yes.

Judgment is a right belonging only to Source.
Though we are all part of Source - none of us has all of Source's knowledge, compassion, and wisdom - though perhaps Jesus came close.
So my suggestion would be... rather than put forth questions intended to incite... work toward emulating Jesus, and consider working toward compassion, and toward Christ-like open-heartedness, toward all.

The law is the law.
I don't agree with abortion but there has to be a full definition (non-biblical) of when life begins. Until that happens, abortion will be legal
If you want less abortion then pump money into planned parenthood. Sure abstinence is ideal, but not realistic. Less unwanted pregnancy leads to less abortion...

silent scream is older than probably most of the people on this board. If there was truth to it, there would be many similar flicks to follow it..
its comical that some thoughtless people still take that aniquated comedy strip so seriously

Abortion is a choice. If you don't like that then avoid it, but don't go clawing at the rights of those who support this choice.

It's still a choice honey. You need to stay out of my womb and away from my rights.

how's it a choice?
Easy.
Condom breaks.
I get knocked up.
I chose to drive to the clinic.
I chose to get an abortion.
I chose to move on with life WITHOUT a kid.
Easy.

well, it IS a choice. If you don't believe in it, don't have one, but for now... leave my rights alone, I'm still using them!

You wouldn't happen to have an credible, unbiased source to back up your arguments, would you?
