I applied for a job in different state and someone from HR called and asked if i'm in process of moving or relocating. She knows i'm in Michigan. I can move for a good job anywhere and I need experience. The state i'm in its hard to find any good job without much experience I did try a lot. Should I call her and say I can move for right opportunity. Please suggest what should i say if she asks

I am an HR Professional. Typically, companies do not provide moving expenses for entry level or hourly people unless there are special circumstances. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving he/she the explanation of why you are willing to move for the right opportunity, as the job market where you live sounds tight. He/she may also be asking so they have a time line they can work with. Remember honesty is the best policy and having goals and a willingness to do what it takes are great qualities and would impress me if I were the HR person.

If you are interested in the job, you would certainly need to relocate. So, if that is your desire go ahead and inform the HR person that you would be willing to do so. There is no dishonor in moving to another state to find work. Work is an honorable goal.

You could even ask if they provide any moving expenses. I would guess not though.
