I am a 30 y.o female and my boyfriend and I have been talking about planning a trip to Belize. I was wondering if anyone has gone there before and if so what part is the best? We like relaxing during the day and partying at night. We are a very outgoing couple and like to have a great time. Any input would be appreciated.

Belize is an absolutely gorgeous country. However very poor so you want to try to stay around your hotel.
Two things that I absolutely recommend doing:
Xunantunich. An extremely well preserved Mayan ruin. Incredible to see. Especially if you've never seen a Mayan ruin before.
Cave tubing. Cave tubing down the river, through the rain forest is spectacular. We were unable to do it but plan to do it next time. Everyone who went couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was.
As far as clubbing at night...I think that may be provided in your hotel/resort. I didn't see many clubs. It's not like Barbados or Aruba. This is more a rural central American country, just starting on its tourism development. Much more a natural wonder place.

I went last December, it was great. We stayed at the Victoria House, which was very nice! There are no tv's, no clocks, but very relaxing. Town was pretty close, there were some bars and dance places there.

We did 2 activites, we went snorkeling one day and another went zip-lining and cave tubing, that was great.

I was there for a day, our ship docked there. We went to the Sun Beach Resort, not a hotel though. It was gorgeous!
