It's something to bring up early, so you don't go through Boot camp for no reason. But it's worth a shot- My uncle had double vision his whole life and he served in the navy as an electrical engineer during Vietnam. He didn't even know it was unusual, he just thought everyone saw the world that way. As soon as it was spotted, the docs fixed him up and he sees just fine now.

Sorry. Diplophia (Double vision) is an automatic disqualification from enlisting at all. Sorry bud! Amblyopia (Lazy eye) on the other hand is acceptable to a point.

no your vision corrected must be at least 20/40

No place in the military for the visualy defective to this degree.
