the bible is almost entirely spiritual. anyone who reads it alone(without God), reads simple words and understands nothing.
Pray that God will open your eyes that you can see what is REALLY written.

Please, you must provide specific examples.

So many contradictions - will be happy to answer, but you have to ask again about a single perceived contradiction. I cannot answer this general question on the grounds that I do not believe that there are any true contradictions - although I am willing to be proven wrong.

Misleading material - misleading in what way? Again, you provide no examples. I would say that anything *directly* contrary to the bible is misleading - but again, I am willing to be proven wrong.

"are the people who truly believe these truths living a lie." - by definition, no. People who believe truths must be living truths, not lies.

I've never found a contradiction in the bible. Now when people only read a verse without looking further into it then I guess I can see how you misunderstand. It would have helped if we had an example of a so called contradiction

Ok...first...there are translation errors and things taken out of the Bible either on purpose or on accident. This is the cause for some confusion.

Second...sometimes things that seem to contradict...when studied closely reveal not a contradiction but building blocks.

and Third...you have to look at the Bible for what it is...the writings of prophets of God in the tribe of Judah for the Jews of that day. So one needs to look at the historical and cultural attributes of the day as well to understand much of what has been written.

Dealing with these three things can be very difficult for the casual reader of the Bible.

It is because of all this that I am grateful to have the Book of Mormon. It was written by prophets of God...but it was written for us and our day not for the day that it was written in. The prophets actually saw us and our day, and included those things that would best benifit us.

bible contradicts it self or do not match up with the other versions cuz the original form is lost. so what we have today is nothing but human creation..
now ofcourse somethings inherit its roots from the original bible but how much trust can u put it in to as it being form the almighty when thers is more than enough evident of it being changed and manipulated???
