I mean... that is the feeling I got from christian humans.

Not sure what all that nonsense about us non-human animals not having "free will" and them having it is all about though. I quite clearly have as much free will as any of you humans.

So wait... is my being exempt from sin determined by species (in which case I am exempt) or determined by lack of free will (in which case I'm not)?

Gah. My head hurts.

But don't worry.... I'm sure the Great Seytnurr forgives all of you loony humans, otherwise he wouldn't bask you in his warmth.
.... Just what constitutes a "sin" anyway? I don't think I ever asked that.

Cat... Your uncle isn't within a thousand miles of here. You however, are small and crunchy, and I have jaws for consuming all sorts of small and crunchy things. Do not push me.

Awesome-O .... There are no REAL badgers in "Yellowstone". Real badgers are known by human biologists as "Meles meles".
What you are referring to is "Taxidea taxus" .... or the "American Badger"....
Associating me with one of those is like my associating you with a Chimpanzee, and from what I have heard some humans find that insulting.

Lion of Judah.... you cheeky git. I'll give you "inferior lifeform" with a side of claw.

Fruitful .... You humans have such condescending attitudes toward other species. I'll have you know that every other of my kin is as intelligent as I am, and we are intelligent enough to know that "right" and "wrong" are entirely subjective. Apparently you haven't learnt that yet.
Silly human.

And to dvampyre. You might think me cute, but I have sharp teeth and tough claws, and don't appreciate being called "cute" like that.

Yes, I am a badger.
Yes, I am typing with my claws.
No, I didn't go to school; I procured this flappy thing with a glowing panel from a human who was sleeping underneath some flap of fabric out in a field. He didn't seem to be using it, so I took it out of curiosity. It wasn't edible, but I found a part of it which made it start glowing. The rest was just a simple learning curve.

But unfortunately, my dear badgeresque friend, you are much more than a mere badger, right? You are a uniquely created individual and capable of free thought so you have risen above the ranks of the other badgers.

So, I think that a badger as intelligent as yourself is very capable of distinguishing between right and wrong. So, unfortunately this means that you have the choice to sin or not to sin. And that is where free will come into play - when you can choose and distinguish between right and wrong.

This isn't really an answer, but a story.
When I went to Yellowstone last summer, my one and only goal was to see a badger and have my picture taken with it. After 2 days I finally saw a badger, but he ran away. Now my question to you, dear badgerfriend, is if you have no free will, then why are some of you so camera shy??

A sin is a when someone breaks a law of God.

As a badger, as long as you don't start committing unnatural acts with a koala bear, you are probably OK.

I live in Wisconsin, the "Badger State" - am I exempt too? I've conquered my choice to desire unnatural acts with koala bears, so am I OK?

Yes, you are absolutely exempt from sin being a badger, and might I just say, I enjoyed your work in that humorous Levi's ad.

I think you are clearly blessed or the devil if you can talk and write like a human. Not sure what to think of you.

even badgers have free will. sin is breaking yourself away from GOD. even badgers must worship something that's bigger than themselves. remember that GOD made you too. no matter what you name you call HIM by.
