I just found out that I'm going to be in a wedding party in 6 weeks from now. I need to lose approximately 15 pounds in a short amount of time in order to fit into the dress. I am going to lower my medication (I take corticosteroids as I used to have cancer and I have gained over 30 lbs. since starting this awful drug). I am also going to increase my exercise but I need a diet that'll work fast. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I realize this isn't a realistic goal but I'm a bit desperate.

Although I don't recommend it. I do have the solution. You can expect to lose 15 to 20 lbs in 6 weeks.

First, drink at least 10 glasses of water PER day...(not regular water, as ICY as you can get) your body has to work hard to warm you back up! Each glass burns about 15 to 25 cals PER glass! (Water helps you feel full when you are getting hungry)

Slim fast meal drinks and yogurt are surefire meal staples...they fill you up and extend the time between meals.
Aim for 600-1000 cals per day at max....healthy stuff only.

Try to eat spicy. Spicty foods have the same effect as ice water...they speed up your metabolism, like exercise would do...so salsas, chili, spicy tuna rolls, spicy mustard.....

If you do this, you will lose the weight...these are supermodel and hollywood secrets.

(best answer to me?! :) )

I had lost 30 lbs in 60 days and I put it up for people like you to read. If you think you are determined and have a strong will power do it my way.

Definitely talk to your doctor before you cut back on any medication.

Try having the dress altered.

Get a dress that actually fits you instead of starving yourself!
