tomorrow I have my first-ever job interview, for a position in a small gift and housewares boutique. Can anyone give me some suggestions, example: how I should act, what questions I should ask, how should I answer the interviewer's questions, etc.

I can give you a few tips:

1.) Make sure you dress appropriately - even if you over dress, it's better than under dressing
2.) Limit your jewelry - 5 pieces, choose them wisely, and don't do all earrings, or all rings, etc.
3.) Have good hygiene - interviewers do notice
4.) If you wear perfume, wear only a little bit, don't bathe yourself in it
5.) NO open toed shoes

Interview itself: *** Make sure you're a little EARLY***

1.) Bring a copy of your resume for them and another for you
2.) Don't figit - it looks tacky and unprofessional
3.) Don't sit down until the interviews asks you to have a seat
4.) Sit up straight, and look at your interviewer
5.) Always make eye contact when speaking with them
6.) Answer their questions to the best of your abaility. Be completely honest and be yourself
7.) If you're going to ask questions make sure they are questions about the position you applied for, or the business itself - NEVER ask them how much you'll be paid, let them volunteer that information to you.
8.) After the interview it wouldn't hurt to send a quick thank you card to them, as a thank you for taking the time to consider you - this really impresses interviewers and some will use that to make their decision
9.) If you get hired on the spot, don't send a card, but do make sure you say thank you for everything, and then ask when you start work.

Hope this helps. Email me if you have other questions. I HAD to take a class of all this in high school.

You should dress professionally in a business suit or at least nice clothes, try not to be too nervous.
Make good eye contact - answer all questions truthfully and in a way that puts your best qualities forward.
Ask questions regarding hours you will be working, salary and benefits, and any other questions you find pertinent to the job itself.
Most of all - feel confidant that you will get this job - your self assurance will be a plus in the interviewers mind.

Ask not what they can do for you. Rather, what you can do for them.
