AIDS is not transmitted by saliva. So, in ideal oral hygiene conditions, french kissing is safe.

However, you can never be sure of any infection in any part of the mouth or any gum disorder which causes bleeding, however insignificant. If both the parties have some sort of open wounds inside the mouth, or maybe chapped lips, the possibility of transmittal is there. Watch out !

It has never been published or proven that the Aids virus does not exist in the salava of it's hosts. There is a warning against 'deep'kissing with the explaination that their gums may bleed from the pressure, if they have bad teeth or gums disease. Thus you consume their blood direct and are subject to getting the virus as well.

Yes you can. If the person you're kissing has AIDS and you have an open sore in your mouth and blood or salavia is passed into the cut, you can contract HIV/AIDS.

Of course not. Aids is a sexually transmited disease, it can also be transmited through the blood stream, it would be very difficult for you to get Aids because of a kiss. I wouldn´t risk it though

Only if both parties have open sores in their mouths (cheeks, tongues, etc)

HIV/AIDS is transmitted through most bodily fluids, but this DOES NOT include saliva. However, if the saliva has blood in it, and it gets into an open wound of yours, you are at risk.

Technically, if you have an open sore in your mouth and the person whom you're kissing is infected with HIV/AIDS, you could possible contract the diease. I believe the likelihood of that happening is rather low, though.

i dont think so... saliva usually doesnt carry the virus, but if he/she has like a mouth sore well u shouldnt kiss him further cuz the possibility of getting it is larger. the virus is found in the blood. hope this helped..

you would have to ingest something like a half gallon of in feted saliva to get it from spit.......when i was a little girl i drank out of the same glass as a person infected with aids and my mom freaked out so that's how i know that.....though it was like 10 years ago that we were told this I am pretty confident its true

Obviously your to young to be kissing if you didnt know this.Maybe you should think of other things to do.Rather then be with boys. And the answer is NO but you can get other things from kissing.Through the saliva.
