Wide angle video lens?

I have a Canon XM1. The lens is 4.2mm-84mm. If I put my wide angle canon lens on, which is 0.7x, what does that change the 4.2mm and 84mm to? Any sciensists out there ?

the converter changes the focal length of the lens it is attached to by the factor specified. in your case 0.7 times 4.2 is 3mm and 84 is 59mm. that is the science.
