Why do you need to worship God if he has everything?
What is a little spot like me gonna do for God? He is the almighty tight? So He has everything at he could ever want at the tip of his finger. He could snap his finger and have ten times as much. So why worship some who has everything. Does having everything make God better than me? How can it if God made me? Did God not put his best foot forward when creating man? and finally How can make anything less than God?

Asking you kids to do something for you doesnt teach responsibility. It only transfers one of your responsibilities to them.

The common answer equating God and us to parents and children is nothing but bunk. I am tired of seeing it. No parent worth a damn would allow their child to be sent to hell or demand worship or tithes from them or even preach a belief system, of any sort, as truth.

The answers you get from them are simply failed attempts at rationalizing that the morals in the Bible are simplistic and wrong.

God is not worth worshipping even if he exists. Nor is anything else for you will never prove to me that just because something is superior in capability it also must be superior in dignity.

I personally think that worshiping God is pointless, the reason being that I don't believe in him. Our fascination with a 'higher being' dates back to the dawn of man; we simply cannot get our heads around the fact that life by it's very nature is chaos.

Human nature makes us want to believe there is someone watching over us and that this presence is marvelous. Why not just let the beauty of the universe take our breath away?

The one thing that most organized religions have in common is the messiah figure, dating as far back as the Egyptians with Horus. All of the Messiah's have several things in common, for example :

virgin births
angels told their mothers they were coming
executed
rose from the dead after 3 days...

The list goes on. I would spend your time enjoying the wonders of the universe than some mythical father figure who will chastise you for being bad. To sum it up, definitely religion is pointless.

We worship God because you are right we can't do anything for God. We love God because He first loved us. We worship God because He is who He is and there are no other gods. God is the One and only True God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whose Son is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Because God is the Creator of everything He is worthy of our praise. We have everything we have because He has allowed it so thanks giving is in order.
If you really test this theory too you will find that the more you worship God and thank Him for your blessings the better you feel and happier you become.
it is really amazing.

There is something called appreciation.
How about gratitude?
True, God does not NEED our worship.
However, we may wish to express thanks for the things He has provided.
OR
Are you of the opinion that a millionaire should never receive a gift?

Grace unto you, and peace(thereof 1stly pure G),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus-->Christ.

POINT: of biblical Law vs Grace allegory & mystery is:
What is His Grace, COMPARED to what He's not: Law.
Grace neither tempts(laws), nor can be tempted(lawed).
Grace cannot lie (law), nor die (law). Law Law does both.

His Grace neither makes nor takes sides.
Law vs Law: is as Loser vs Loser: does both.
Every way you look at Law vs Law you're a L-oser.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus-->Christ with you-->all. Amen.

Not sure how ole you are, but; if you have kids you will understand it better this way. We as parents ask our kids to to things for us, not because we can't do them but because we want to teach them responsibility. That is why he expects us to do things for him (only after we are saved)
