Or some other religious book? Is it written on paper made from bananas for chimps? Or perhaps grass or carots for rabbits? Where do they get their morals from? What im getting at is we don't really need religion to provide us with morals do we?

There are plenty of athiests who have very good morals & who are compassionate, kind people. Religion is not a requirement when it comes to these qualities.
When you consider how animals in nature survive, and if you believe in evolution, how humans have survived, you will note that for animals living in groups, relationships are very important to each individual, to allow them to remain within the group. A group animal, for example, a baboon, would not survive long if it was forced to live alone. This makes it necessary for the animal to get along with it's peers, and to control it's behaviour to the extent that all members of the group benefit from the presence of that animal. So, it's ingrained in group dwelling animals, to consider other individuals, to ensure our own "survival". For other animals that are not group animals, for example, tigers, it is certainly important for their offspring to survive into adulthood for the survival of the species, and the continutation of the genes. Because of this, it is ingrained into every evolved animal, to take care of and nurture the young for this purpose.
I don't believe animals have a sense of "good" and "evil" as we do, as those things are our own invention, but I do believe that whatever we choose to call it, our brains have been formed in a similar way to many animals, to ensure the survival of our peers & offspring, to keep ourselves secure & safe, and to allow another generation to be produced.
I hope that makes some sense.

No, actually you don't. Thats why there are
laws - people who do not live under the law of God require laws to tell them what they can and cannot do. Those laws are derived
from the Word of God.
If you murder, you face capital punishment
if you steal, jail
etc etc.
As far as just being a kind person goes, sure you can be kind without any knowledge of God whatsoever. As a matter of fact,
its written that when Antichrist comes, he will not be coming as the bad old devil.
He will come full of love and kindness and tolerance for all. He will be ever so kind to you. Most people will think that because he acts so kind, moral, and just like Jesus did
in the Bible, that surely he must be Christ.
love, love, love.
If Gods Word of Truth is a bit too much for you then the doctrine of Antichrist will be
just about perfect for you. Just like the little
bears porridge. just right.
Its not the morals you need that are written in Gods Word: its the information you need
in order to know whats happening when this fake jesus comes on the scene. He will
be acting exactly as Jesus would; he'll be teacher/preacher/savior for all. Will you know the difference? How will you know?
He's gonna be real kind. He's gonna be real
good to you. He'll stop war and give all the homeless a home. He'll be supernatural.
He'll look like Jesus Christ.
There won't be any way of knowing unless
you know the gameplan; not unless you know the seven seals of God written in the Word.
Its gonna be a real bad time to find "religion" at that time, because you will end up a devil worshipper.
Forget morals; what you need is information. The Word of God is loaded with information; without it, you are doomed
to be deceived. Don't feel too badly, though, since the Churches don't teach the meat of God Word, either. All they teach is the same "baby Christian lessons" over and over again. The only ones who will not be deceived are those who study the Word of God and listen to the simplicity in which it is taught instead of listening to man.
Lack of knowledge will be the downfall of man, and the traditions of men and the Church systems, make void the Word of God.
Remember; when the thunder sounds, the lightening has already struck.

No, any being that abides by natures rules behaves this way.
They have no concept of good or evil, yet they know instictivly the right thing to do. There is no such thing as an 'evil' animal.

The same as Pagans. We have no set of rules to abide by. We follow nature and have no concept of good or evil. Yet through natual empathy, love and respect we do the right thing.

"If you take [a copy of] the Christian Bible and put it out in the wind and the rain, soon the paper on which the words are printed will disintegrate and the words will be gone. Our bible IS the wind and the rain."

Chimpanzee troops are known to wage war on other troops and kill the rival members, just like human gangs.

If a lion takes over the pride of another lion by driving him out, he will then kill all the immature cubs that the previous lion fathered.

Animals have no morals and no sense of right and wrong. These are purely human fabrications. Where did you get your ideas from?

In many ways, animals are far more intelligent than people. They can live for hundreds of years in their chosen territory without changing it t all. They come, they use nature, and leave it as they found it, for the next generation. We are the great destroyers,
Someone says that animals do not have souls. Where is any scrap of evidence to back that up. If animals do not have souls, then humans do not. If humans have souls, then all other living things do also. If you think me wrong, Please show some tiny scrap of evidence. Not that some superstitious egg-head wrote it in a book.

No you don't need religion to provide your morality. You do have to take time to search yourself and make your own moral code if you choose not to use an existing one. Making up your morality on the fly seldom works--if you don't have any rules to consider when making decisions, it's hard to know you won't be weak and make the wrong one.

So the male lion who eats his own cub has morals does he? So the yobs on the street who killed that man who wanted to protect his own property didn't need 'religion' to get morals....what you don't seem to understand is that morals come from God in the first place and it is now that people are abusing them even more than throughout history.......Christians...that is true 'born again' Christians don't abuse Gods expectations.
Best wishes, Mike.

Of course they have a Bible. It is wired you would mention the bananas because actually ancient chimps made their first Bible out of bananas' filament. Think about it... people say there's also a hidden manuscript in the southern part of Africa, which contains 'Monkey's ten commandments'.

You are correct. Both animals and humans are the result of evolution. Evolution ensures the survival of the most useful traits among which are morals of one sort or another - essential for the survival of a species.

I think i see what your trying to convey in this question. I guess i would be compelled to say that animals have feelings such as you and i. I am trying to stay strictly to the topic at hand but its hard to not break away into other topics such as defining a creator and what makes us human and makes other creatures what they are. Alot of animals will kill there young or leave them to die if it means there life is in danger. It happens i know that you are right to, but it does happen. All i know is that humans are the only lifeforms on earth that i know of who can grasp the idea of a higher power and convey that meaning into religion, symbolism, prayer, etc. animals might know that there is a creator on some level, but religion is for man.
