With a great deal of exercise and not overeating by lunch time, you should be okay!!!

It really depends on what is in it. Coffee is a diuretic so it should help you go to the bathroom. And caffeine helps you stay alert and full of energy. But, most people add stuff. If you just drink the Latte with nonfat milk it's only about 160 calories. It really doesn't offer much nutritional value though.

And by 1:00 how hungry are you? What do you eat at that point? You may not think you're hungry, but when you feel like you're are starving at 1:00 you have a higher tendency to overeat or eat quick (fast food doesn't help your belly).

A fiber bar in the morning (even with your latte) wouldn't be a problem and would probably cause you to eat less at like 1:00.

If you're at a place that let's you pack snacks bring some nutritional snacks you'll be doing yourself a favor. You'll activate your metabolism by having a handful of nuts and you probably won't be that hungry at lunch time and could just do a salad or something (go easy on the dressing though).

James K recommendation is right on. Have breakfast and if you want that Latte, make sure you walk to the starbucks.

No! Aside from the high caffeine to get you started in the morning...there is not enough nutrients in just ordering a specialty coffee, to call it "breakfast"!! However, I LOVE Starbucks!! Starbucks' lattes, however, are a good choice for a lighter version of their other drinks, if you get the "skinny" latte, in which they use non-fat milk/skim milk. See this page to view all the ingredients in the Starbucks' drinks:

The caffeine may be an attributing factor as to why you're not hungry until 1 pm. Nutritional value? Little to none. I normally eat fruit slices consisting of bananas, cherries, honey dew melon, cantaloupe, and plump grapes. I add the bananas to the mix in the morning as I don't want to have "soggy" bananas. I do all of the preparation the day before and put them all in zip lock bags. In the morning I just put the slices and a freshly sliced banana in a bowl and enjoy. It's quick and very healthy. Coffee is tasty, to be sure. But it is not a good replacement for breakfast. It doesn't supply most of the nutrients you need. And lattes tend to be loaded with calories in themselves.

The latte has plenty of calories. You are better off eating six small meals a day to stave off hunger pangs. You will actually eat less all day because you won't be so voraciously hungry when you do eat.

no, it's not a good replacement for breakfast. it probably is not good for reducing your belly, either, depending on what you have put in it. it's empty calories, meaning it has little or no nutritional value at all. only the milk is good because it provides calcium.

it's allll about calories. coffee itself has few calories but cream sugar etc do. and really you need to feed the machine for your body to conduct metabolism. i'd suggest breakfast, a walk, AND that coffee, with walk being the important item.

You may lose weight. Of course it may be all muscle/water, and you may actually gain fat, because your metabolism will be screwed up.

Or perhaps you will slow down your metabolism to the degree that you GAIN weight.

Not eating breakfast will damage your health either way. It's a stupid idea.
