They have recalled specific date codings, and not solely based on the brand and company alone.
Royal Canine does not appear to be on the list. Ol' roy treats and wet food are on the list.
You can go to

or you can call: 1-866-895-2708

Why ffed them poor quality foods anyway? Our pets need quality pet food. Read the ingredients list and learn what the stuff on there is and what it does (or does not do) to/for our pets. A quick pet food 101. If the pet food contains corn/corn products or by products it is a poor quality food. Corn is a filler that can trigger skin problems. (allergies, skin problems, itching and excessive shedding) By products is anything from an animal not fit for human consumption, including cancerous tissue. Do not pay attention to advertising, they all say there food is great. "Vet approved" means they have a vet on staff to approve their product. In other words, someone paid to approve it. Same with foods most vets recommend. Salesmen "gift" vets then the vet recommends the food. Most vets are not nutritionists! Quality foods have meat as the first ingredient. California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova and Merrick are a few of the best brands available. Of course ol'd Roy has been on recall many times ol'd Roy is the worse of the worse that you can feed your dog, please don't that food has no nutrients in it it all i think paper has more nutrients than th"food" plus it would just make your dogs poop more and it can make them seek in the long run, please don't risk your dogs health if you want him to stick around for a long time and about Royal Canine that is very good food just like Innova Evo, Canidae, and Natural Balance.

search"dog food recall" to be sure of all, however, they were mostly foods listing "wheat gluten" as an ingredient. Many were gravy type, and I think Ol Roy was listed originally.
