Laws, government, society & culture, music, technology, business, education....everything changes with time. Then why can't religion change with the changing times? Please note: I am not talking about minor reforms, but the major ones.

if it does , it will sound man made . and when it sound man made , people start to think about the credibility of the religion.

and when people start thinking, there would be less believer.

eg , if the religion change and said ' thou shall not use computer to watch p0rn ' and ' thou shall not hack other people game account '

people would surely know its made up by new people .. den they will surely suspect that the whole stuff is probably made up

What I typically encounter with this subject are those who do not see the truth as it really is. They misunderstand the Bible and think that there is need of change.

But the Bible is completely understandable once the traditions which have been added on are abandoned. I like the word 'Reformed'. To me, it's 'reforming' to what was instead of conforming to what is.

The ways of the church that was can be found and properly understood with the Bible and the knowledge of the Holy Spirit. If I can do it, so can other people. But the traditions that have been forged in the minds of so many Christians; Protestant, Mormon, Catholic, etc, need to be dropped after being understood for what they really are: Erroneous doctrines.

But people typically must have their traditions which have become a part of their heritage. So I will not hold my breath. I can at least resist the traditions myself in the pursuit of knowing the truth.

Religion does change over time. The Protestant Reformation was an extremely large change within the Christian Church. In 1963, I believe, or sometime around there, the Catholic Church held an ecumenical council under Pope John XXIII and thus Vatican II was born. Changes with practices are made more often than one would think. Major religious changes are made less seldom because beliefs don't change as often as practices.

Perhaps "religion" is not what needs to be reformed. It is the laws, government, society, culture, music, technology, business, education, and people that needs to be reformed. Of course, this is my opinion only, but the bible teaches us not to judge and if we start trying to reform religion isn't that exactly what we are doing?

The first Protestant reformation happened in 1517 and then their was a second reformation which was done in 1648. Since then the church has not significantly made any progress. The progress they made in these two reformations was to return to the worship and doctrines of the early New Testament church. You see God is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow - He does not change, and His doctrines do not change. What has been touted as progress in the last three hundred years is often de-formation of the church.

What about The Reformation???

The Protestant Reformation was a movement in Europe that began with Martin Luther. The movement began as an attempt to reform the Catholic Church. Many western Christians were troubled by what they saw as false doctrines and malpractices within the Church. Another major contention was the practice of buying and selling church positions and the corruption found at the time within the Church.

I really understand you.
I understand every words what you means.

The earth is very old. It just llike human being. The early human are very tall. Now the size are 5' to 7' the most at average. During prophet Noah's there's paganism. Noah ask his people to Worship God and they refuse. Not a single paganese left after the world biggest flood. All are Monotheist (Monotheism). There are more than a thousand prophets from God to tell human kind to worship God. The Major are more than 600. Leaders of prophets are more than 300. The most Major and leader of prophet send by God, from one prophet to another prophet asking human beings to Worship God.

Among Leaders and Most major of the prophets are Idris, Hud, Soleh, Abraham (Ibrahim), Ismail, Ishak, Luth, Syuib, Yusof, Ayub, Zulkifli, Yunus, Moses (Musa), Yusya, Ilyas, Hazqil, Ilyasa, Samuel, David (Daud), Solomon (Sulaiman), Hazqiya, Sa'ya, Armiya bin Khalqiya, Danial, Zakariya, Yahya, Jesus (Isa) and lastly Muhammad bin Abdullah Salallah'alaihi Salam. All these prophets are from God. Now is the time of prophet Mohammad bin Abdullah the last prophet and the last messenger of God until the end of the earth. The Master of chief of all prophet (Nabi, Rasul and Ulul Ambia) are Mohammad bin Abdullah, Abraham (Ibrahim), David (Daud), Moses (Musa) and Jesus (Isa) binti Mariam.

Hundred of thousand years ago, mankinds keep on dening God. The earth is one of the creation of God. Any creation is not permanent. It will desolve. That will also goes to earth. There shall be end of the earth sooner or later. The earth will definately end. The earth is old. Belief me to what I said. Remember, God create and govern the universe. God know best when the earth is ending. It for us to think and to Worship God. That's our main duty as human being to please God that create us. There's no such things as REFORMED. God have given enough time to us mankind. The earth is very nearly towards the end. That's why there's no more prophet. Muhammad bin Abdullah is the last prophet.

Probably can't be reformed without removing Paul from canon, and evangelism from doctrine.

The two are braided into everything that's gone wrong with Christianity and a lot of western civilization for 2000 years.

Sure, if God is the one reforming it. But how can mankind change eternal and spiritual truth that is supposed to be true for all eternity? Then obviously if mankind keeps tinkering with it and inventing it, it is not a revelation from God but an invention of men.

Religion is all about God and his work from the beginning and up to today and God's work doesn't need any reformations you are wrong. God changes not what we are going through is just an image of what God divinely passed. I wish you could be spiritual and read well the book of revelation. God's work is complete and even knows and holds the destiny of it all.
