4 years ago I was charged with a Felony.Prosecutor tricked me to sign a plea saying if I sign plea, nothing will happen, matter will resolve promptly and I will continue with your usual business.I tried my best to get plea back, but failed.

But now problem is I am unable to get any job since then,my health is down due to lots of stress and have foamy with five kids to support. All the job application has question about felony and I do not want to lie and so unable to get a job.

Can any one help? Is there any Government,Public or Religious organization help? If some one is charged with Felony,he cannot get job? How he/she should support himself /herself?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP. GOD BLESS YOU

talking from experience. if the felony is theft related you cannot get a job involving money or sensitive information becouse the employers insurance does not allow it. it is easier to get a job as a murderer or rapist than for someone who stole something. once it has been 7 years you no longer have to say you are a fellon. in the meantime there really is quite a few jobs you can get. I would avoid telemrketing becouse if you arnt good on the phone it wont last but it will work in a pinch. i went with heavy industrial(steel mill) all they really care about is the strength of your back(it aint like you can walk out with a 50000 pound piece of metal!) and pays good. i have 9 felonies, out of prison 4 years now and have my life together making 60000 a year in a steel mill

I would imagine your just restricted from a job as a security guard, or someone handling money, those types of jobs.

My neighbor has a felony, and he got a job working for a company and has done very well - they love him - I think companies get some type of benefit for hired an ex felon.

Good luck to you - there is a man in our Church that is an ex-felon - white collar crime, and he is the nicest, greatest guy I've ever known.

God Bless you right back.

It really depends on what your felony was.. I mean a felony means you killed someone, or you just wrote a bad check for a lot of money.
Go to a temporary agency like Western or Manpower, get tested on your skills and let the people know that you learned your lesson and need a chance to redeem yourself and feed your family. Since you will be under their employment in the beginning you might be able to get a good job that way.
You also might consider the military too.. I know guys that had one felony that got a waiver to get in and they straightened their lives out.

My boyfriend has the same situation. Only thing that I can think of is trying to work for a small business that doesn't really put you through all the screening that larger, franchised businessed do.
Good luck & if you find out anything could you post it.

You probably need to hire an attorney. Only attorneys know how to battle attorneys, and prosecutors are attorneys. If the prosecutor went outside the bounds of what is proper, ethical, and legal, then he is guilty of legal malpractice, but it would probably take a lawyer to figure out if he could be convicted of this. If he can, you mgiht get your case thrown out retroactively. Good luck - if you are telling the truth.
