I believe these are a sort of "forerunner" to the Mark. The mark of the Beast doesn't appear on the scene until the Antichrist ascends to power during the Tribulation period. Since the Church is still on Earth, this hasn't happened yet, so make sure you're ready to go when the Rapture does occur! The RFID chips will become "updated" somehow and become the fullness of what the Antichrist intends the Mark to be.

I believe that RFID Chips are a part of it, but the AntiChrist will probably want to use or abuse the creation of God in another way. Our finger print is unique to us, so is our retinal patern and or DNA. these 3 things are what science is working so hard to perfect in terms of positively identifying a person. You can manipulate a chip, reprogram a chip reader, but you cant change you finger prints, your retina nor can you change you DNA, wspecially since your DNS can be found in you saliva, blood, sweat, skincells etc....

This is my opinion of the way the Anti-Christ will keep track of us. The mark will be generic outward symbol of an inward and more complex internal identifyer. Can you immigine you specific DNA signature linked to a RFID Tagging system.

I'm so glad that many of us will not have to be here for that.

If you're willing to admit that 'the mark of the beast' is actually symbolic and not a physical mark on the hand or forhead, then why not interpret all of Revelation symbolically? That's how it was written anyway.
