Besides being a celebrity, athlete, or something like that, what type of job can you get that pays alot but you can be hired with just a high school diploma? ($50,000 a yr or more)

Sell Real Estate. You can make far more than $50.000 with limited training. You are right about not focusing too much on college. I have eight years of college, and it is not all that.

theres not much to do if you don't get a degree.but you could try starting your own bussiness saving up and buying a little place to make a restraunt,or mabe make toys if your creative and sell your ideas for money.you can be a singer thought if you have a good voice and show off your voice you'll probally get noticed.be a janitor.in a year they make 50,000$ straight witch is probally what your aiming for.my grandfather is a janitorian and gets payed 50,000$ in a year.you can be a waitress and a cafe shop or fast food restarunt.you get tips and all that stuff.in a year i'd say they make about 30,000$.or be a bartender and get big tips for serving good drinks.thoose are some of my suggestions.you can also try to be a fry cook.and my last suggestion someone suggested is be a locksmith or a stripper or truck driver or mechanic.you can also try an artist if your very creative.it pays very high.there is many things in life to be without a degree you just got to have the skill to get a certain job.but i would suggest you go to college to finnish learnin and become better thing in life.i am not forcing you to go i just think it would be best.but its your choice.whatever you pick is fine with me and it should be fine with everyone else.good luck an hope you find a great job!:)

Jobs that don't require a degree (or long term apprenticeship, or some sort of extended training) and pay very highly, frankly, don't exist. If they did, most people who do wouldn't go to college.
I'm not saying it's not possible to be very wealthy without a degree, but that comes mostly from entreprenualship, not applying for some job and walking into $50k a year. Even for the few cases that doesn happen in, it's because someoen has worked for some time in lesser paying but highly skilled jobs and built up a plethora of real world experience (essentially in lui of a degree).
Your best bet is to determine what service your community needs and isn't having met, and start a business based off of that. The majority of millionaires are those who do very boring, often dirty work that needs to be done no matter what (hence, they always have profits) - not flashy glamorous positions.
Alternatively, figure out what you really do want to do, and go get that degree that will let you.

You could start a speaking business. There is a wonderful little book called "How to make a fortune from public speaking" by Dr. Robert Anthony for 4.99. The pricing information is out of date but the concepts still work like a charm. Trust me on this one or you could get into Financial Services selling insurance, Stock etc. But you really have to be motivated and focused to succeed at these. Sales, Sales, Sales...If you are willing to work, are presentable and can talk up a storm. You can make money in sales, some people I know with only HS education that make 50k Plus work in TV and Radio sales, commodity futures and stock brokers don't always have higher education they are just hard workers.
I also know a few Car Salespeople who do very well even in todays tight market. Car Salesmen/women can make a lot of money if they are on the ball and follow up.

work on an oil drilling rig.I work 7 days on and 7 days off and make around 70000 a year.some of the guys cant even read
