Interesting question, apparently the choice to do "evil" knowing it is "evil" make it wrong, but innocently doing evil is not. For example, Adam and Eve were naked, which supposedly was evil, but after eating of the tree, they knew that they were naked and felt the need for modesty.

God didn't make a big deal about eating from the tree of knowledge, he made a big deal about people steeling and and lying. There no doubt that as God saw fit and as man matured God would of opened man's eyes in this regard.
To have all the things that God gave the first human pair including the tree of life, shows that on his part he wanted man to succeed and fill the earth. His plans for the earth have not changed. other than his time table.
When man comes to an accurate knowledge of God's word and reasons out what God plans for his earth and how we can take part in his plans then you will see why its important to listen and learn. Had the first human couple listened all things would have been accomplished by now and their eyes would have been opened to understand good and evil.
Jeremiah 10:23 says we are not able to direct our own steps.
This should be obvious if you look around you to see what man has accomplished in the last 6 thousand years.
Like a good father he wants you to learn, he also will correct you as he did the first man and woman. You wouldn't let your own children steel from you or anyone else, would you?
The thing that helps when learning is to look at things through the other persons eyes. If you have questions feel free to ask. gemhandy@hotmail.com

Adam and Eve already knew what it was to be good; no two people would've known better! Evil was the key to what God did and did not want them to know about. A child with any sense, doesn't touch a hot stove after they've been warned about the pain it would cause! Had Adam and Eve left well enough alone, we'd all still be naked, blissful and living a Utopian existence!

My answer will maximum probable dissatisfied Christians ( i'm one ) yet right here is going. God tryd each and every thing He would desire to to win back guy after the autumn yet He saved being rejected. yet whilst He asked Abram to sacrifice his son and Abram enormously much did it for Him, God replaced into maximum inspired. So, God had a Son, and asked Him to die for the those that they might understand how lots God loves them. Jesus replaced into totally guy, in basic terms led with the aid of the Holy Spirit of God. And whilst Jesus found out what He would desire to do He even attempted to invite God if there replaced into yet in a diverse way. yet interior the top Jesus, not understanding, different than with the aid of faith, that God could develop Him, died for us all. whilst He rose back He replaced into glorified as God and replaced into seated next to God the daddy until time could end. to that end, salvation is excepting Jesus's attitude to lifestyles, in comprehensive faith and have faith of Gods love. which you will sooner or later be resurrected to be with God once you die. consequently, the outdated asserting , " demise the place is your sting" and " He conquered demise" there is not extra worry.

Good and evil are the eternal fight. Before the eating of the fruit man was just what he "was'. Not what he thought.

Easy.
To the Christians, knowledge is evil.
That's why they hate heathens... we're knowledgeable.

People who made gods were scared of knowledge apparently.

They knew that the more we "know", the more we realise that god is fake.

Same as when your earthly father tells you not to play with fire when you are two, or not to ride the bicycle but you listen to your friend instead and disobeyed your father.
When you next meet your father - you are never the same again.
