Right now my favorite is Michael Chiarello. Why? He seems down to earth, the food sounds good, and he lives in Napa Valley (like me!) so I get to see gorgeous views.
He replaced my old favorite of Emeril. Emeril just got too big for his britches, if you get my drift.

I enjoy Paula Deen. I have met her a few times, last time being just a few months ago. I alse met her hubby Michael and her brother, Bubba. They are all so sweet. Paula is run ragged these days, I don't know how she does it all.
We will be eating at her restaurant (and Bubba's) in two weeks. Am looking forward to it.
2nd on the Food Network is probably Giada. My fiance likes Giada too. He likes her cooking but also likes looking at her. LOL.

Paula Deen - love everything about her...her recipes are user-friendly and delicious, she has a great presence on camera, and she obviously ENJOYS the food she creates (unlike some other scary waif-like chef on that network)....

I have loved her from the moment I saw her! She's a good Southern Lady (like myself) and honestly, many of her recipes are the exact ones I have used for yyyyyearssssss.
As Southerners, we love our food and it shows we love our families!
PS: She has the MOST HANDSOME sons on Food Network or any other network for that matter!! :)

I like the Naked Chef, Jamie Oliver,
He seems to be a real guy, and some of the simple meals he makes I can taste through my television.

Paula Dean because she cooks like I grew up eating and she's so funny. Giada DeLaurentis is second because she has so many interesting dishes and I can actually make the things that she showcases.

I like most of them as I use them for new ideas. I am a pretty good cook, according to my 5 kids and hubby. I have been cooking for about 33 years of my 43. I also love to bake!

Being a Southern girl, I have to opt for Paula. She is wonderful and her story about her life is amazing.
