... I'd be right up there with Bill Gates.

Funny thing is, I don't know what they honestly hope to achieve by spouting such nonsense.

Do they seem to think psychiatrists are miracle-workers? Do they suppose that the person in question even WANTS "help"? Do they suppose that it is helpful to turn a unique and independant individual into another clone like the ones routinely churned out of the people-factory we call common society?

I mean... It gives me a certain sense of power to know I can say something about unusual (like a while back when I commented on needing blood on my hands to feel real)... and I'll get the usual flock of bleating morons coming through, telling me I need help / should get help....

Maybe someone needs to tell them in no uncertain terms.... that if millions of people from all walks of life cannot convince me to be normal..... that one perfectly mundane psychiatrist isn't going to make a shred of difference.

Only YOU can help YOU.

{ Oh Causer of Problems .... £1 is One Pound Sterling. British legal tender. It is what we folks in Britain call "money". It is worth about twice what the american dollar is worth (so there). }

Not rich at all.

"Get help" isn't something humans say to me.
"Get help" is something humans say to other humans who they notice are trying to converse with me.
Apparently they don't think that humans can converse with Badgers without being insane.
... Actually, they don't think at all.

My family don't say "Get help" to me either. They reverse the order... usually followed by some item of food or other resources.

If you say that what millions of people say makes no difference to you,so be it .By the way, what are you doing on this net work which is meant for and is being used by them?Is it to tell only your side of the story or to show off your intellectual prowess? If so,then you are right again. You don't need any help but a resounding kick on your butt for your arrogance.Let's see your response to it.

I'm with you, Lucid. When my depression was diagnosed, my doc recommended "talk therapy" along with my meds. Instead my girlfriend and I started taking evening walks, where we could get away from our hubbies and kids for an hour. We got some exercise in and we talked and vented and helped each other. We both lost some weight and it was a heck of a lot cheaper!!

Pretty rich...but not up there...anyone who tells someone to get help because they believe in something different is the one who needs the help...

And the reason the GBP is 2 times more is because(hypothetically we had the same amount of resources and stuff) the US just had 2 times the amount of coins and paper than the British...

I dunno, that's how it was explained to me..we just have a lot more money moving around and if they took some money out of the economy our dollars would be worth more...or something.

I'd have enough to buy a meager lunch. I know very few people that care enough about anyone but themselves to actually tell me (or anyone else) to get help. Mostly they just want help themselves, help with no gratitude.

i don't need some over educated doc to tell me that i got problems like the damm geico caveman. i'm dealing with what i got and the day i break down and fall on the sidewalk is the day they can have me.

I think someone is crying out for attention also known as 'Help'

What can I suggest except that you get Help, and maybe you'll find a pound today?
