I have been a messed up wreck for the past 5 years. I'm a born again Christian but I still maintain to get caught up in the devils work. I just recently got into some trouble with the law and I am still addicted to marijuana. I always tell myself that I'm going to do better, but it never gets better. I need help and I need to do better by sticking to my word. Can someone help me please!

Please no jokes for I am very serious about the life I have been living lately.....this is not a joke for me so please don't make rude comments.

Girl, first off, I will totally be praying for you. Also, keep in touch with the Lord regularly. We all get tripped up by sin sometimes, but you have to make a concerted effort to ask God for His forgiveness, but you also need to forgive yourself. You will beat...You and God will beat it, together. Chin up...I am praying for you.

By acknowledging that you want turn yourself to God means that you are already under the mantle of His protection. And the thing is that when a human tries to turn himself to God, the evil tries to lure him more, with all its energy , so that you would succumb to its designs. The first & the very important thing that you require is a very Strong Will to reform yourself because only then the Lord will be able to help you. You dont tell yourself, you command it. You are in-charge of your body & your actions. Then, everytime you feel the urge of doing anything vice, then pray to God with all your heart that very instant until the very desire to do anything harmful subsides. I would suggest carrying a small picture of the Lord in your purse so that everytime there is that evil instinct raising its head like a venomous snake, you can take out the picture & meditate on the Lord. Negative has never been able to uphold himself against The Positive. Also, you must immediately end your friendship with anyone who induces you to resort to bad ways. It may be difficult, but if you want to reform, you have to do it. You may also resort to any kind of outside help. Do not be embarrassed to get help from an authorised institution or a person because as i said earlier you are in-charge of youself. You must reform. Along with prayers, i would also suggest you to convince yourself about reforming. Close your eyes, bring your thoughts to the centre of your forehead and repeat loudly to yourself that, 'im going to change. Bad habits are not for me. Im going to stop using drugs.' The lord will help you.
I pray to Lord that you come back on track. All the best.

The first thing you have to do is remove the obstacles, which are like you said, overcoming your legal troubles and drug addiction and to get a good foundation by living a stable life in this world. Getting back to God is different path for everyone though usually it helps to get some good books- check your local library for titles and stories that move you and give you inspiration. This is good practice in what's called discernment, to feel within yourself what is good for your spirit. Read the Gospels and pay special attention to what Jesus teaches and reflect on how well your life imitates His teachings. It's a long road but you have taken the most difficult step. Good luck to you.

Go to your room close the door and get down on your knees and pray for God to put the Holy Spirit in you.
The Holy Spirit is here to be the one to take the place of Jesus' physical absence.
It is the Holy Spirit that will do battle for you against the addictions and tribulations we face on a daily basis. We cannot do it alone so we go to God for the Holy Spirit.
This is advice, I cannot help you, but the Holy Spirit can, you have to ask God for it to come into your life, and you have to mean it and then accept it as the guidance in your daily life. Here you will be able to beat back what evil is troubling you everyday.
It is the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus by God's grace I believe we are sustained with.
God bless and all the best to you in your life with God's Holy Spirit.

You must stand on the Word of God. No weapon formed against you will prosper. Locate a local Delivery Ministry in your area and tell them what you've told YA. They'll ask the Lord to cast out the spirit of addiction in Jesus' name. You need to renounce this spirit and demand that it leave your body. Ask the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit so He can teach you all things. When you receive the Holy Spirit you will receive power. Admit to God that you are turning the addiction over to Him because you are powerless to handle it. Believe that He that is in you is greater than anything in this world and He is able to deliver you from this addiction.

This is very serious. The devil is always going to be there and tempt you to do things that God wouldn't approve of.Have faith and stay positive. You can do this, many people have.First you need to find a rehabilitation center and stay off this stuff. When you get out, don't think about 'what if I do it again?'Try to be more involved in things around you.Go to a church camp or join a club.Hang out with friends that won't be a bad influence.Read the bible and pray to God for strength and wisdom. The Devil is very clever and he will always be back for more. But with God on your side he doesn't stand a chance.ask for forgiveness and you will be clean once more.God bless!

One thing and one day at a time. It's okay to screw up. You are a sister in christ.I think you need to find a church that doesn't condemn you. You feel bad enough. Nom denomational and bapitist churches are good help. They have free programs .
GOD BLESS

I would recommend a Teen Challenge program. They have helped more people than I care to count, and it is Biblically based.

My wife and I worked as counselors at our local branch of Teen Challenge for a number of years, and we saw the results you are seeking. The link below will help you locate a Teen Challenge center near you.

God bless your efforts.

When you are ready just cry out to HIM! Say, JEEESSSUUSS! HELP ME! SAVE ME, I WANT YOU! GOD I AM SICK OF MY LIFE! I AM YOURS!! ~GOD BLESS YOU AND LEAD YOU INTO THE RICHNESS AND THE FULLNESS OF GODS LOVE FOUND IN CHRIST JESUS THE LORD, AMEN~

You need to seek your church pastor who can help you out. On your own in bended knees, you can say a simple prayer -telling God you want Him to be in your life, you want to turn a new leaf and ask for His help and for His forgiveness for all your sins (confessed them one by one) and thank Him for His mercy. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
I also suggest that you listen to Christian gospels regularly especially Don Moen's God Will Make a Way CD and read the BIBLE too. Starting will be difficult but it is worth awhile.
SEEK a pastor now in a BIBLE Believing Church to your way to freedom
