God is not our nanny. He isn't here to protect us from every danger. Why do people blame God every time something bad happens? Don't you know God makes these things happen as a reminder that we should all turn to him?

"When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?"
Amos 3:6

God is not like a nice grandfather. He is not there to please everyone. We are the one who have to please him. He has great expectations from us.

"It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
Hebrews 10:31

If we don't turn to him and do what he asks, we can only expect a terrible judgment to fall on us.

for once someone has it right. ADONAI is not a piggy bank
either. one reaps what one sows. HE does judge sin. HE
also allows sinnners to sin. our ADONAI isn't into mind
control like witchcraft is. man freely sins and brings hell into
the life of everyone who participates in that sin. so give
ADONAI the credit HE deserves for Not blowing us out of
the water everytime we boo-boo. HE is just.YESHUA is our
forgiveness but we have to want to repent.

He isn't a nice grandfatherly type , He's an overgrown child that is terribly insecure and needs to be continually worshiped. If he doesn't get the constant praise and attention that his fragile ego so desperately needs, then he has a cosmic temper tantrum and causes really bad things to happen to people and for some reason people such as yourself still choose to worship such a flawed personality.

“Why do people blame God every time something bad happens?” Well, I’m sure you thank God every time something good happens. So are some of just here to be sacrificed so that God can teach others lessons? When people die in earthquakes, hurricanes, etc., was it really to teach someone else a lesson? There were children who died in Hurricane Katrina. Did God let them die to teach us a lesson? If so, he is scum. But luckily, the God you believe in does not exist.

I expect the Lord to take care of my every need, and He does. God is a Father, as Jesus said, a better Father than the best human Father.

Do you know Him as Father? You're supposed to.

As far as calamities, sometimes He allows a calamity in someone's life, to wake them up, set them free from something worse down the road, maneuver their life circumstances.

Or in certain cases, it could be judgement.

I would love to see that happen. My goodness, I sure get tired of see those questions. I don't even answer them. Maybe if everyone would stop answering them, then those who write them would grow tired of wasting their points.

Yet you probably pray, expecting him to at least consider granting said prayer. Hypocrite.
