AstonMartin: This is a real question. It goes to the techniques you would use to spot the real Jesus when he comes. I wanted to know what they are.

AHHHH!!! ZOMBIE invasion!

I'm hightailing it off this planet as soon as that happens!

Sorry, not Christian, but an occasional sufferer of living dead nightmares.

If aliens came to earth, I would be very surprised because, according to the Bible God only made one planet with life. If they raised dead I would be more surprised and probably slightly suspicious. If they claimed they were God I'd have a good think about it and ask God to give me the right choice. In the end, they probably wouldn't be aliens just demons or some hoax.

If an alien came to earth and raised the dead, I think that alien would be God in disguise as an alien.

If aliens came to earth, they would obviously posess far greater technology than humans since we can't go to them. So it would be easy for them to decieve us and use tricks of technology when they weren't actually doing what they claimed. Now if a man from my own neighborhood did it, to prove that God is living and to offer hope to us, then I'd be impressed. I might even write a book about it.

What an interesting question... You are saying that, although the christian doctrine would be shown to be true in every sense of the word except for the inaccuracy of god's expected humanoid appearance, what would be the reaction? If he looked like a giant snake, would they believe?... If he looked like a goat-man and announced that his name was Satan and not God would they believe...? If he said that his name was not Jesus but Fred Flinstone and he had every characteristic of a cartoon, would they believe...?

LOL What's in a name, eh?

Good question! I have the feeling that there would be a surge of monotheists clamoring to do whatever the entity asked. Particularly if he looked like Ted Nugent. The beard and long hair could do a lot to convince people.

Do you have anything better to do than spread your anti-religious garbage all over this site? People come here because they have real questions. Quit wasting space.

Hahahahahaha! Believing in the Bible but not the possibility of extra terrestrial life?! I love it.

Those additional details sure helped clarify your question, so thanks. Rest assured, I'm sure when Jesus returns, we won't have any problem identifying Him.

(AstonMartin, I was actually thinking along the same lines you were!)
