I agree with the first answer. Junk Yards are the best and cheapest. If you know how to fix it up then that is the only way you're gonna get one for a good price.

Well, I not think you will find a good one in Florida. I figure Time and Environment has taken it's toll on them. In Tennessee you may try taking some weekend drive into the country. Get a State's vacation planning kit. It will show events and give you a current State map. Then you can enjoy some activities around and as you drive to them keep your eye out. Also, like a lake. You may see an old dirt road that goes toward a lake or back side of a park. These are Dead-Ends to nowhere, but, people live on them and some have nice old cars for-sale that people never see because they never drive down a dead-end road!
I remember my woman and me where just riding around a big lake. We were curious of land for sale that may overlook the lake. Went down an old dirt road. We actually found a man said he sell us an Acre and give us access to it, but, we never bought it. :-(
Anyway, down that road was a "cherry" 1940's Pontiac which looked original from paint to good chrome. Old Flat Head 8. Sign said $1,500 needs a battery.

Take a long country drive. You will find them sitting abandoned on peoples property, if you find one, just go to the house and ask if they want to sell it. That is how my father in law buys all of his. He has bought quite a few of them and fixed them up and never paid over a few hundred dollars for them.
