I think we should bring them home.
The entire thing wasn't any of America's business in the first place!
If you agree, tell why, if you don't agree, try and prove me wrong.

I think they should stay.

Iraq was under UN sanctions for invading Kuwait, and we defended Kuwait. After 9/11 President Bush wisely decided America would not let rogue regimes remain in power - especially ones who harbored terrorists.

One common response is 'there were no terrorists in Iraq before the US invasion', but we know Jordan requested the extradition of one al-Zarqawi - and SURPRISE! He popped up in Iraq with a terrorist network already in place.

There is also a whole lot of intel that we aren't privvy to - so Joe Average Citizen trying to pretend he knows all the info is a bit ridiculous.

Personally I think we should have gotten rid of Saddam the first time, but the world was a little too willing to allow Saddam to continue his brutal, cruel and destructive ways.

Ha, your troops should have never even gone to Iraq. Right you are: It was not your business

But now there is no way they will go.

There is no such country as Iraq any more. Should you pull out who's going to fill the vacuum? The Kurds? the Turks? The Iranians? Sunni? Shia?
That's WW-III for you right there.

On the other hand, given the amazing US record of screwing up, I will not be surprised if they pull out tomorrow.

I agree because I don't want to see any more messed up kids coming from that hell hole. And those that say "would you rather fight them over here" better realize that in military strategy, the home army always has the advantage, so YES!

Also that way, the chicken hawks can't hide! Not like armies are really gonna come here, when they don't really have a navy...

I disagree with you. You have years of recent history to draw on. If you cannot see the reasoning by now, you have a closed mind.
