can anyone tell me when nyc starts their christmas decorating?
like the rockafella tree etc.

Christmas decorations usually start going up the first week of December. The first holiday markest usually open right after Thanksgiving. The tree at Rockefeller Center is almost always lit around December 5th.

you asking about public decorations of the ones in the stores? Thought I saw some xmas displays in kmart (jst jking)
Stores start displaying xmas stuff around halloween (late oct) Rockerfeller center lights the tree in the first week of dec.
