I know that the Wood Brothers team backed one of the best ofall time- David Pearson in that #21 car en route to 105 wins, 2nd all time behind the one my kids call "Mr. The King."

They also helped Indy Car legend (and personal favorite) A.J. Foyt to 7 NASCAR wins.

They are legends dating back to a bygone era. I hope hthey never go away. The sport owes them a debt of gratitude.

It's weird- their 2007 season. I thought Jon Wood was supposed to drive the #21 and then, next thing you know Bill Elliott is unretired, yet he's not the Awesome Bill from Dawsonville of old.
Classy move Elliott giving up the 21 to Boris Said and a smart move well-handled by the bushy headed one.

The team seems to have lots anything resembling a vision.

Darrell Waltrip raced for the Wood Brothers back in the 1980's. I had only been watching Nascar since 1977, but Waltrip, Earnhardt, Yarborough and Petty were the best drivers.

Lex Lugar gave you the direct answer. Perhaps the more metaphysical query you posited has to do with where you place yourself on the web.

If you really want serious technical NASCAR discussion then yahoo answers is not the locale for you.

Seek and yee shall find.
