there's this guy i've been seeing for the last 5 months.. we both like each other but we're not a couple.. like, he's not my boyfriend coz my parents wont let me have a boyfriend.. though, im in college already. he's kissed me since our 4th month and for the first time, we actually french kissed just a couple of days ago. considering the fact that he's not my boyfriend and we french kissed.. is that still okay? or because he's not my boyfriend, he shouldnt french kiss me or kiss me at all?

well, if you two like each other enough to french kiss, you're probably girlfriend and boyfriend. And why wont your parents let you have a boyfriend? You're old enough to have one. For them boyfriend means leaving them. Explain to them you just like him...and you'll kiss him sometimes. And if you really want to stick to the fact that he's not your boyfriend, it's definetely ok to kiss.

Boyfriend is just an artificial label. Its okay to kiss people that you are attracted to. What isn't ok is to kiss someone when you have made a promise to someone else not to kiss other people. I think you have a boyfriend whether or not your parents approve. Did you promise your parents you weren't going to kiss any boys?

Put a little imagination into it. Tell him that you would like to try something new. You be the leader instead of he. Wash, rinse, repeat. :) After awhile, he may get the gist that you like to kiss differently, and you guys can find a comfortable in-between where you are both enjoying the contact! Good Luck! LilD

Yes, it's fine. I used to make out with random guys at the bar and for awhile I was sleeping with a guy who wasn't my boyfriend. What ever you do together is fine as long as you respect yourself and others.

He sounds like a "secret boyfriend" to me-(you're just hiding your relationship from your parents,) -I don't know if it's o.k., but one thing may lead to another & you may get pregnant....-now that's what's NOT o.k..
