He's a politician, and a crappy one at that. I personally figure that anything that came out of his mouth was a lie, therefore, the Marines HAD to be innocent to begin with. I bet 5 bucks that the next time he is up for reelection, his opponent tries to use the quote against him, and he doesn't even appologize then. He will explain how he was "misquoted", and blame it on the Bush Administration. Murtha was probably one of those Marines that didn't practice "Semper Fi", but instead lived by the motto "Semper I, f*** the other guy".

I wonder if the Marines could sue his @$$ for libel or slander though.

Yeah, Murtha is one hateful jerk and he could be locked up. Nuts like him make certainly everyone look undesirable. i've got on no account cherished him. He makes use of his militia background with a view to smear honorable squaddies. Like somebody else reported, he's extremely like Kerry, a traitor and a shown liar. He grow to be following the left-wing schedule template. in simple terms like what they did to the Duke Lacross boys - to blame until shown harmless. A undesirable double customary that desires to be eradicated asap. putting radical kooks like Murtha, Kerry, Reid and Pelosi in penal complex could be a commence, yet I doubt that could desire to ensue.

He and all the other dems should get down and kiss those Marines combat boots, beg for forgiveness and their votes.
I know how the military will vote in 08,watch the dems try and not count those votes.

The man is an embarrassment to all Americans not just the Democrat Party. An apology from him is not needed, nobody would believe he was sincere anyway.

Absolutely.

But don't bet on it.

And don't hold your breath waiting for the media or his fellow congressmen to hold his feet to the fire.

But they support the troops, don't you know. (sarcasm)

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's probably a babykilling US military personnel. Give Jack Murtha a medal for speaking out the truth.
