Im 16 and ive never had bf b4 and now i got braces.Does that mean that im not gonna have bf for like 2 years?i mean im pretty but ive heard braces aren't very good for kissing and that guys dont like it..so do guys like hate braces and dont wanna have gf with braces?

This is the honest truth:
I really like the whole braces look. I like innocent looking girls and braces just brings innocence to girls and it really appeals to me. I remember this one girl called Emily who used to wear braces and she's a cute girl also, I actually remember telling my friends how I thought she looked better with braces.
None of my friends seem to my view on braces but none of them will avoid a girl simply because she's wearing braces.
Now I'm going to risk sounding arrogant and snobbish or w/e but I think it'll help you to know that I'm a good looking guy. Also remember that looks actually mean very little to the people who matter, it's the character that's the most attractive. I've gone on dates with the hot girls and actually, with the exception of one, all of them were really cool people and a few of them quite down to earth. I've also gone out with the confident girls and they are actually the ones I'm most attracted to, the girls with upstanding character and their own aspirations. Then there's the shameless flirts who mastered seduction to the point where they can hook any guy into their spell (one of them worked their magic on me lol). Anyway my point is looks aren't everything, it does open doors and I do admit I gravitate toward the better looking girls, but you should worry more about developing skills and your character than how braces will affect your high school love life. The girls I'm happiest with are the ones who I respect, the girls who get hurt are the ones who put to much effort into their looks and attracting the wrong kind of guys.
Man I just came of as completely conceited.. That's one of the things I'm trying to tame once I get to college...

Alright this is easy, I have a Gf with braces and i cant tell that she has them. Girls with braces are just as hot as girls without them. And if a guy dont like you because you have them F him because you will have perfect teeth in two years. So dont worry =]

it depends on the person, most of the time it doesn't matter - it may be different for kids than for older people, For the most part guys are just fine with it. Sometimes it may help you - they make your lips seem fuller, and all that. you will look better if you smile than if you don't. So you will look better if you smile than if you smush your face up.
I think you'll find if you relax and be yourself, and smile, and make sure your hair/skin/clothes are nice, that guys will find you attractive and they will be just fine with it.
it you let it affect your confidence then they'll pick up on that and stay away - you need to make sure you project a confident atttude, like you are themost beautiful girl in the world. You don't have to be the most beautiful, you just have to THINK YOU ARE. See the difference? If you project that kind of confidence guys will be drawn to you.
most of the time guys look at your EYES anyway a whole lot more than they look at your teeth, if they look at you at all. guys are terrible about eye contact.

very few guys hate braces but most dont really care. just make sure u brush your teeth at least twice a day cause your mouth is dirtier when u hav braces i know it sucks

be yourself, be interested in life and be there when someone needs you. ask questions about the people your interested in and show them your an honest and dependable individual. do that and people will look well past braces. and when you get the braces off, youll look even better.

Braces on a girl are fine, just don't get any of the metal caught on any sensitive bits on your man :)

To me it doesn't really matter
my girl friend was in a car accident before i met her and when we met she had a broken front tooth she fixed it after we met.
i didn't care cuz am not in love with her tooth am in love with all of her
so my answer would be braces or not it doesn't mateer what matter is who you really are.

i'm with braces. i'm dating a guy now. so no probs. u have to be confidence or u won't look good instead. the matter is the confidence, right?
