we had a disagreement about what we each wanted in the relationship so that ended it. but now he is saying things like it bugged him that we never even kissed on prom night. he misses kissing me. he felt special that he was my first kiss. that he cares a lot about. that he honestly wasnt attracted to my body alone...but to my mind. :) we tell each other everything. when i see him he picks me up and hugs me (hes a foot taller than me) then we laugh and smile even if nobody said anything. he always compliments what im wearing and how i look too. does he still like me?

it's like the old saying goes,"you never knows what you're missing until it's gone and too late to bring it back". but on the serious side i think you don't need anyone to tell you the answer to that question because you know him better than any of us... afterall you are asking a bunch of strangers for advice on your relationship i mean anyone of us could be pissed off at our spouse for what they have done and next thing you know someone is destroying your relationship by giving you a bogus answer... be smarter than that trust your gut feeling it is almost always right.

It's really hard to make a judgment call when all we have to go by is one paragraph. I think that you know the answer and the fact you care whether or not he likes you says something about how you feel toward him. The best action is often the hardest and the one you should take is to ask him.
Since you and him talk a lot, you can lead a conversation to the question. You can maybe talk about a pleasant experience you two shared and things to that nature. If he likes you he will be eager to use the opportunity to open up. But either way, you should find a definite answer so you can move on and stop wondering about whether or not he still likes you and either move on to a relationship together or maintain friends.
