These occurred within the 3 weeks immediately after the rejection.

Don't they become more and more hurtful each time ?

I've just broken contact with her unless she wants to call me at my workplace. You mar refer to http://sg.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Anr85HULJtYH.e.25yW0vRz44gt.?qid=20070816022537AAJm5wl.

I know about just being FRIENDS, but the "just be frens" speeches only caused me to open up my wound (i.e. rejected by her) again.

Friendships are made and not just talked about, aren't they ?

She and I are BOTH in our 30s.

I merely continued to help her as a friend in giving her job advices when she called me for those advices.

If she keeps giving the just friends speech you must be doing something to give her the idea that you still want more. It's that or somethign else...

Personally after the second speech (assuming she came with it out of the blue) I wouldn't be listening to here it a third time.

then BE FRIENDS - there is nothing wrong with having a friend. you know there is only one soul mate at a time, not everyone is going to be perfect for each other, but it is good to keep them as a friend. They aren't rejecting YOU - they are just saying you aren't hte one for them. -
There are women that rejected me in like the 8th grade or whtever, but stayed friends and 30+ years later they are still a friend. They weren't the right one for me, but at the time it hurt - it was a loss, but it's good I can still talk to them if I want to. You should do the same.

it sounds like you are a child - it really upsets me that children use this forum, it is a complete waste of my time.
and I don't like having to spend my time answering questions to people who really could care less about listening to my answer.
you should probably talk toyour parents about this kind of thing

4 times a week? That is so annoying, I will be contented enough to hear only once already then I probably don't wanna see him anymore. At least until I'm totally over him...
