Yes.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

Yes you think about food more because your body thinks you are starving! If you want a new diet, try this one, the food pyramid. Or this one I like and works for me, heres what you do, you only eat when you are hungry, you only eat what you are craving(within reason) and you only eat until you are full. Even if that means wasting some food, if you have a brother or husband, make them eat it. And of course exercise at least a little bit.

Of course!! It's the body's self preservation button being pushed!! If you continue on this path, you'll push your body into "starvation mode". That's when the body literally shuts down by starting to burn lean muscle mass instead of fat (NOT GOOD). And your metabolism slows down to a crawl!! Eventually, you'll binge eat because the brain thinks it is starving! You'd do alot better if you ate high protein snacks throughout the day to lose weight!! Example: apples with peanut butter, low fat cottage cheese with fresh fruit slices, low fat crackers with cheese, etc. Good luck!

yes, diet's don't work. it would be better to eat how you were and increase your exercise.

within reason of course.

it is pretty much human nature. if you try to restrict yourself - you want it more and more..
