The answer from LuckyJohn13 is typical nonsense:

"It MUST be remembered and realised that Atheists do the right thing cos it's the RIGHT thing to do "

We do what society wants us to do because we love the praise, both real and imaged, that we get when we do something society considers praiseworthy. Our human nature loves praise as a reward and avoids punishment. So this "RIGHT thing to do" is a crock. It's all love of rewards and fear of punishment.

Empathy? Another crock. Empathy is just an emotion that we can cultivate or ignore. Why should justice and morality depend upon how you feel?

Common sense? What is that? Isn't it just those things you want to do because they make you feel good?

"The basic ability of every human being to know right from wrong." Where would such a thing come from? Evolution? Evolution is survival and deception.

Quote Einstein? Einstein's philosophy was typical of most intellectual Germans at the time. If Einstein had not been a Jew and persecuted, he would have remained in Germany and worked for the Nazis.

In my case, being brought up, by two Atheists, to do the right thing cos it's the right thing to do and maturing to realise it was the right thing to do.

Atheists do the right thing cos it's the right thing to do voluntarily and NOT cos some InvisibleSkyCritter apparently whispers in True Believers' ears that he'll send them all to hell if the believer doesn't love and suck up to the InvisibleSkyPixie, 24/7.

Someone is sure to talk about using the Goat Herders' Guide to the Galaxy as a moral compass.

It'd be a bit hard as this crusty, dusty old book full of Bronze Age superstitions, fables and other generalised Büllshït is also the most violent book available to all, and recommended reading to all, without a ParentalGuidance classification.
It has MORE violent and amoral actions/crimes listed (mostly carried out by the InvisibleSkyPixie) than any other book that's as well 'read' and, it is held up as an example.
Yeah, right.
LOL

Use of heart and head to balance what I believe to be right and wrong, with what I feel to be right and wrong. Use of the philosophy behind the Wiccan rede: Do what thou wilt, but do no harm. Secular ethicists such as Plato.

Quote: Virtue is knowledge; people will be virtuous if they know what virtue is; and vice, or evil, is the result of ignorance
~Plato (writing on the philosophy of Socrates)

Morals / Ethics are really just the basic rules that humans use to avoid killing each other in large societal groups. Humans are not naturally societal creatures, beyond the extended family group. We automatically compete with the "other" outside this extended family. The rules of society have evolved over time, as we have, to avoid conflict in the larger groups. We've done this so we can advance to our current level of technology. By specialising, we've had to come together in larger and larger groups.

If you look, most of the religions of the worlds have come up with similar rules. The rules are inherent in most legal systems of the world. They were written in to religious texts so that the priests could act as the conscience of society. Isn't it time we grow up and take responsibility for our own consciences and actions?

Sometimes atheists are more moral than religious believers. Quite often Christian morality is based on fear of divine punishment while an atheist's morality is based on human respect and compassion.

Atheists simply don't know that this world continue to exist only by God's mercy. I God was a bit similar to atheists, He would demolished this world in a moment. Some of pillars of Democracy is based on the Bible or were taken from it. See. You shall not commit murder. Developed democratic countries abolished death punishment even for murderers. About equality before the law.
" ...You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike You shall not fear man, for the judgment is God's "..........Deuteronomy 1:17
" ...they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.
"You shall not distort justice; you shall not be partial, and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
"Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you ".........Deuteronomy 16:19.
Also - YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS...
This fact that God gave a free choice to a man to believe or not to believe. This speaks meaningfully. Just atheists and cynics want to destroy greatest achievements of Democracy.
