Dear, 13 years is not the difference you should worry about. It is quite romantic when the guy is older 13 years than you are.He will take care of you like a baby and that is fantastic!
Besides my friend is 19 & has got married recently to a 33 year old guy they are so happy.Good luck!

I have seen larger age gaps to be honest.
What you have to do is ask yourselves these questions:
Does it bother me when people look twice/funny at the two of us when we walk down the street holding hands?
Does it bother him?
Will it affect the relationship with your family and close friends and/or will they get over the age gap?
If it doesn't bother you or him what people think, and the people that matter to you those most don't see a problem, then by all means go for it. Be happy and don't let others give you a hard time, which some may.
I'm 23 and I've dated up to 34, and it was slightly awkward at first but who is anyone to tell us or look at us funny?

I had the same thing at 19 and I too was very mature for my age but, I think at 19 the age difference is quite big. You are at different points in your life however mature you are. If you want me to tell you my experience you can email me.

As you get older, the age difference will mean even less than it does now (50 & 63 or 60 & 73).
Besides, what everybody else thinks does not matter.
What matters, is what you and he think and perhaps those who truly love you that you would like to consider.
I would have to say, that those who truly love you will consider your happiness over any personal feelings or perceptions that they have regarding the age difference.
Everybody else's thoughts and opinions are not going to keep you happy, only your own feelings for your chosen partner and how he reciprocates.

Sure, if you are a mature person then it can definitely work. Biological age doesn't matter so much as emotional age, so if you think that you are pretty good there then you are good to go.
My dad married his wife when she was19 and he was 37, and they get along just fine after 8 years.

When my sister was 18 she dated a 34 year old man, it worked because she was so much more mature than him :D
If you think it's okay, I don't see why you shouldn't go for it. But be careful of course. Have fun :)
(But I wouldn't recommend it as a life relationship!)

Age doesn't matter. I've met guys that are 40 that act like their 12. Girls mature faster. I say go for it.

i do hope u r strong as u claim, age difference doesn't matter but some guys do tend to take advantage of u if u are a lot younger, so go ahead and date him but take care of your self and let him know exactly how u feel. i've been in the same situation, i was 18 he was 30, gudluck

I dated a guy in college who was 17 years my senior and while it last was good. He had to move away so it didn't last long after that. As long as the two of you are comfortable with the situation...screw the world...it shouldn't matter what we have to say on the situation...
