Laptop Jesus, Bevis Christ, HypnoPope, etc. etc Has anyone seen any mocking names about atheists, pagans, etc. Lets see how many we can come up with.

Take it easy guys, I am just having some lighthearted fun here. We get so caught up in being mad at each other at each turn. If i were to "stoop" as one person put it, I would have created one or 20 and started posting questions.

Dear Lucid Freedom,
As a Christian i can say that some of the names mocking Christianity are offensive and some are actually a bit funny.
That being said, as a Christian you should follow Jesus' example and not get caught up in trying to "repay evil for evil, the Bible instructs actually to overcome evil with good. And to love and pray for those who oppose Christ.
God is big enough to defend himself, and most certainly Jesus wouldn't be caught in name-calling by those who mocked him. When He was on the cross and being mocked His attitude was: "Father forgive them."
Colossians 4:6 tells us that our words should always be seasoned with grace so that we may now how to answer everyone.

Why would I as a Christian want to mock Atheists? That would be very un-Christlike of me.

Just because other people do it doesn't mean we should stoop to their level, " Blessed are those who are persecuted because of Me, " they will make these names just to irritate you, but don't let them, be a bigger person and just ignore them!
