Yes Jake ,
We recycle all of our trash. We do the usual, plastic, paper and glass and tin. We take all our aluminum to process plant .61 a pound. We also process our food waste to compost for our organic garden. We have been on a no pesticdes in or out the house for 2 years, and have been using only organic cleaning products. We never use plastic bags and carry totes to the store. We thought this was going to be hard but it has turned out to be pretty easy.

Ex husbands have already been recycled. Couldn't help it.
Yes, we recycle our trash. Therefore, we don't have much trash.
Most things go in for compost. We even recycled other people trash because they won't. Talk about going the extra mile.
Fall leave are put back in the woods to be recycled back into the forest floor. The rest are used for plant mulch.
When other people think fall leaves are trash and a pain in the neck we reuse them like I said above.
There are too many people who don't recycle there trash. Just take a look at all the trash along the rode sides. That's their recycling which other people volunteer to pick up.
So my answer would be YES we recycle our trash.

There is very little that I cannot recycle. Glass, plastic, and paper to the recycle center. Food scraps into the compost pile. Its pretty much just bones and peach pits that end up in the trash.

Yes, we do. I am also a member of a Freecycle group that puts people in contact with each other so that things you no longer want, but still have some use left in them can be given to someone else without cost.
The idea is to keep stuff out of landfill and seems to work very well here in the Waveney District of East Anglia, UK.
Almost every city has a group - look on the Yahoo Groups listings for your local one. Careful, tho, it's addictive!

Ha ha. Clever.
yes. My actual trash has been greatly reduced, as it is now only organic food waste, and the occasional bit of recyclable plastic.

Yup, in England (well, most areas in England) you have to separate your rubbish into various different types for recycling.
There is a fine if you do not do it or put the wrong things in the wrong bins. I don't have any problem with this - it is our responsibility to look after the earth and is actually no hassle at all.
I lived in Germany for a while and they have it spot on - their whole mentality is geared towards being eco-friendly because they have just been doing it that much longer - it's second nature to them.
