Is there a way a man can get help if he is abusive in relationships?

is this true?

If he can hit you once, he can hit you again (or even kill you)?

what do you think about controlling men.

It sounds like you need serious advice, so I'll lose my usual humor for a moment:

I have abused. I can tell you from experience that a man CAN get help, but if he doesn't get help and be SERIOUS about it, he WILL repeat and it WILL escalate.

The state of Iowa has a Batterers Education Program. It is a GREAT program that helps an abuser identify his or her problems and find solutions. Regretfully almost all attendees are forced there after being charged with domestic violence.

It will be very difficult for the abuser to admit he has a problem before being arrested. But, if he can do that, and if you can find a similar program, like BEP in Iowa, in your area, then it would be a VERY good step to take.

Good luck and DO NOT put up with ANY form of abuse. Move out until he gets help. DO NOT GET HURT.

Yes a man can get help, there's a reason as to why he's so abusive! Maybe bad childhood?! Anything can make somebody abusive!
And I suppose in some cases if he hits you once, maybe he will hit you again! Get him help! However my man hit me once, and I punched him back and broke his nose! lol.....But he's never done it since!
Controlling men are bldy hard to deal with! But they have to get help! And if they won't do it! We have to get help for them!

Everybody talks about men beating women, but it goes both ways, and in my opinion its just as wrong.
