I'm an atheist but I dont dismiss the possibility there was a real man called Jesus who was quite a good doctor and magician.

Christians might as well follow him as anyone, people have based religions on less.

Maybe in 2000 years there'll be Siegfried & Royianity.

the teachings of Christ run through moral systems and religions long before the "messiah" and will continue long after so what difference does it really make if morality is in tack. how about anti-Mithra or anti-Horus or anti-Krishna just to name a few of the paralleling saviors of our history. there are plenty more . take off the blinders and look at the big picture.
may you have peace and happiness in your lifetime

I was an atheist until I was 31. If you want to proof-text it to support the Antichrist Atheist position, you also have to listen to Jesus' last words which were "Forgive them, for they know not what they do" and "It is finished". I never considered myself an Antichrist and still do not. The problem with proof-texting is that the scriptures have been translated so many times and in different cultural contexts, as well as being "edited" by certain Popes over the years, that it is sometimes contradictory of it's self. I believe God loves each of us unconditionally, regardless of our aknowledgement. The example of God's sacrifice on a cross is to prove that very point. Pass the Peace

I used to be atheist. I later converted to Christianity. Now, however, I am agnostic; I am unsure as to whether or not God exists. I am not opposed to the idea of God, nor do I completely believe in God. I'm kind of open to ideas.
Atheists are not anti-Christ. To be anti-Christ is to oppose Christ. This is not the same as not believing in Him.

Dear Christgoing,

Atheists are obviously not the Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ is described in the Bible as being one individual who will persecute believers during the end times.

The Bible does describe those who carry the ideas of the Anti-Christ and those who do not believe that Jesus is Lord do carry that idea. Obviously atheists do not believe that Jesus is Lord -- and so their ideas will reflect that.

i think that's quite different though than just calling them the Anti-Christ.

i think any atheist would be comfortable being referred to as someone who was not for the idea of Jesus being God.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

I personally consider Atheists to be anti-Christ because the Bible states the house can not be divided against itself. So basically you are either with Him or against Him. But that is just my personal opinion though. I still believe they are good people and should be treated with respect also.

How can you be "anti-Christ" if you don't believe in the concept of God AT ALL? Atheists DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD(S)!

If you're anti-war, you KNOW there is a war! You just don't agree with it!

If you're anti-smoking, you KNOW people smoke! You just don't agree with it!

Atheists DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD(S)! So they can't be "anti-Christ/God/Allah/Holy Ghost/Jehovah or ANYTHING!

they are even anti themselves they live like a pig I guess because they do not have a meaning of their life they have to show you that they did good for example to some one need help they have to brag about to every one to tell them you are so good and stuff. but they never do something good when no one seen them If you know what I mean. because no one could see them.

but it could not be for Christians because they know that there is someone watching over them. that will be as what they thing god (Jesus).
and here comes the different between me and them I mean the Christians. and as far as I know the nun believers are like Animals eat. drink. ****. and have sex and. bark.
